Call up your credit card... some companies have theft protection as a feature (Mine do at least)... you might be able to get the credit card company to forgive you a bit on the costs...

But seriously... keep hoping it will turn up! Maybe if the cops catch the person you can also sue their asses off

 

Damn that really sux man. I grew up in edison. I still go back to menlo mall alot. I'm pretty pissed that there are car thieves runnin around there like that. I hope things work out for you man.

 

sorry to hear that you lost your gsr. i personally use an autopro pedal lock which goes over the clutch pedal. i have a 90 teg. and 96 lude and i feel confident about leaving my car at work during the middle of the night. hope they find your car though!!!!

 

thanks for the support guys. i had an alarm on it, but they dont do shit. i parked right by the movie theaters thinking that the security and people were always around, but apparently they werent when my car was getting stolen.

wow thats crazy, i play pool sometimes in linden. where did you drive around newark to find it? i never really drove around newark, just through it or to the airport..

 

Dude, that sucks. I'm so sorry for your loss. However, I'd be interested in buying your stockers if you still have them. It's money that'll help you out I'm sure. Also, don't let this incident scar you out of owning a Honda/Acura. It's seriously not your fault that the GS-R is a top stolen car. If you're scared to own another car like yours, then who's won but the theives and critics. I hope they find your car, I really do. I'll be pulling for the car's safe return.

 

I played pool in linden on occasion, i usually stuck to scotch plains though. Anyway.. yeah my car got stolen in linden right off of st george. I found it in newark on the border of irvington. I don't remember the name of the street.. It was outta luck I found it. I was driving around aimlessly and I was pretty much lost. But there was one street I kept passing for some reason.. but I never turned down it till finally I decided to.. and about halfway down the street there was my damn car parked infront of someones house. So I went and called the cops and told them I found my stolen car and they needed to come right away before it got stolen again LOL... I had to drive it home with a screwdriver in the ignition and the only thing missing outta the car was a 50 cent piece.. my leather jacket,radio and speakers were all still there. I think it was on sw 12th or 7th something like that.. a residential area. It makes me laugh to tell people this story.. I was just so pissed somone stole my car i was determined to find it.. plus i only had liability like a dumbass. So I say you go down to newark and look.. thats probably where it is ... thats usually where they all endup. Goodluck... I hope everything works out.
