Default When to shift or recommended

I have a 95 4dr gsr and i dunno if its all GSR's where the rpms get really high. and when do i shift or when is it recomended to shift to get the most out of ur engine. like when i go 60 my RPMS are at 3000. and is it bad to shift at 2000 for all gears if i wanted to save gas? and all this is under normal drivng not racing or anyhting. Thank you

If you've been driving for a long time you'd know what rpm you shift at.. For best fuel economy follow the recommended shift points that are listed in your Integra Owners Manual.

I'd say the lowest you wanna go while driving is 1.5-2K... I like to shift personally at about 4-4.2K for daily driving...

Also, in 5th gear, 3K and 60MPH is perfectly normal

A good rule of thumb is to shift 10% past your peak HP rpm point.

So basically if you have a GS-R 10% past 7600rpm is 8k.
