oh, yes well then the socket will not fit on the connector, an open ended wrench rounds the head of the o2. You need a special socket for o2 that has a split cut into the metal to let your o2 wires go through, if not it is possible to take a small pick and find the release clips inside the connector and pull pins out. This is time consuming and sometimes impossible.

This is true.

The o2 sensor is not something you want to mess up, especially since inexpensive o2 sensors are hard to find...
