Hood Locks
Hi all.
This weekend, my stock distributor was stolen from my 1996 GSR.
I just moved to a new apartment and would like to not have to worry about this all the time, so I think I'm going to purchase some hood locks. Is this a good idea? Which ones should i get?
I'd rather not have something too obtrusive or flashy, if possible.
Thanks.

if you have an alarm you could get the DEI hood lock or some knock off for cheaper. and they just stole the distributor, weird, but at least you still have your car and i think it would be a good time to get an alarm system witht the autoloc that locks up your brake or clutch pedal.
That is the wierdest thing I have heard in a while. Why the hell would they just steal your distributor? Is there another gsr in your apt. complex? If I were you I would invest in an alarm with a hood sensor. Who know's what there are going to steal next, the spark plugs and wires to go with the distributor? How did they pop your hood anyway? Did they break your window or did you leave your car open?
I dont have too much under the hood, but I bought some for my 91 accord. I just got them off jc whitney and painted them to match my car. I have a great alarm, its just that, ya pull the battery cable, and no more alarm. So I figured I would put those on before I put in my new leather interior. ALso, they only cost $27 shipped, and they wont be too noticable.
