Default Integra Safety

I'm looking to make my car a little bit safer and was wondering what some of the people on this forum have done. Advice would be helpful.

how do you feel your car is not safe?
better tires, brake pads and lines always help
driving school
nothing on your car to distract you or others (ie: neons, altezzas, glowing crap, etc)

well depending on what kind of track your speaking of
most drags is helmets for 13 sec or faster
and roll cage in 11 sec or something like that

at autox, different things bump you in class

at road racing, by the time you get here you should know what kind of safety you need, depends on the organization your racing with and what not

your question is to broad now

these are just some suggestions like what was said before youre question is real broad

helmet
rollcage ( an actual one not one fo sho)
better suspension ( i will not go into depth for that there is a wide range)
tires
four point harness
better brakes (numerous ways of doing this)

then of course there is not going to the track at all j/p

The most basic items to change before going to the track would be tires and brakes. If you're hardcore about going to the track, you might as well get a set of R tires to change before you go to the track.

As for brakes, changing to a good track brake pad should be good enough. And you should change your brake fluid before and after each track event.
