Default Located a GS-R / What are your thoughts?

1998 Integra GS-R
Black coupe w/ cloth interior
42,500 miles / $11,500

- All power options (CD player, etc..)
- OEM Honda Foglights
- Alpine alarm w/ keyless entry
- New tires with less then 4k miles (OEM Michelin's)

The exterior has some very minor scratches on the lower portion of the front lip. Two very small dings on the driver's side door. Minor wear on door handle. The seller (adult) has owned the car for other 3 years and purchased the car with $12,000 from a friend of the family.

Edmund's Value:
Private Party.................$10,026
Dealer Retail.................$11,487

KBB Value:
Private Party.................$10,535
Dealer Retail.................$12,330

--------------------------------------------------
What are your opinions on his asking price/value? I was thinking of not going any higher then $11K. Do you think I should go lower or is he asking for a fair price based on what you know about GS-Rs and the information I provided? The only glitch in my plan is that I'm going to test drive a 2002 Impreza WRX "just to see what it's all about" this week.

Thanks fellas.:a:

Always negotiate down. Sellers are usually willing to go down around $500 less.

It sounds like a good deal. As for a WRX your not gonna find one that cheap so unless you have a lot more than what your willing to spend for the GSR I wouldn't bother

My honest Opinion, my buddy found a 2001 GSR for 12,700 with 38,000 with a clear title and a warranty in SL so i'd say keep looking but if you can't find one then deffinatly go for it.
