1999 4 dr. Starting problems
If I don't use the car for a four or five day period It wont start. I have to call Acura to give me a jolt! It started happening about the same time I noticed the warning light stayed on. Acura fixed that but not the need for my constantly having to call for the jumpstart. I've got a replacement battery from Acura. No help! I have an alarm system and the other day when I tried to click it to unlock the doors nothing happened. Things are getting WORSE. Any ideas out there...please?
Do you have an aftermarket alarm? I've had the same problem on my old teg, I've also had my battery replaced once but it would last over a week if it's being garaged. After discussed with the technician after the dealersip, we found out it might be the aftermark alarm that has being using a great amout of power from the battery while the car's not startling. Try disable your alarm and leave the car there for a week, if the problem still exsits, disable the battery jumper wen you are not drivng it.
