Engine Bogging! Help!!
Okay... Just got my $500 car back together. My fiance` drove it around the block and said that it bogs when she takes off from a stop. I'm not sure what's causing it, and I have no real history of the car as it didn't run when we got it.
I need ideas!
Here's what I did:
Head rebuilt/valves
Timing belt
Water pump
Spark Plugs (.040 Gap)
Wires
Rockers adjusted (.004 In/.007 Ex)
Oil/Filter
Fuel Filter
Ignition Timing 16 BTDC (Whatever the label says)
I double and Triple checked all connection when I put it back together... Anything I might be missing?
Any help would be great.
Thanks,

maybe you did like me and forgot to properly seat your valves do a compression test if it's low squirt a tsp. of oil down the spark plug holes and retry if it improves you need rings if not it's the valves. You can also run the engine with the oil cap of and feel for the patented blow-by wind.
