Volk Racing Winning come in 17x7 and 17x8 with a 4 bolt pattern... Considering that for the 17x7 the offset is 44, it is prob. gonna rub the wheel compartment. The 17x8 have a 42 offset.

My question is, if it's a big problem that it's 8" width? More friction, more consumption...other then that is there anything elses to consider?

I have 17x7.5's and a +45mm offset, im DAMN close, but I dont rub (205/40/17 tires).
Im down 2 inches.
