Default time for tires

i woke up today to find that my car surprised me with a flat tire,
cant say i didnt see it coming im almost at 60k with what i suspect are the stock tires (i got my teg at 56k),
they were bald as hell and i was just sorta putting off getting new tires,
cant really put it off anymore tho so im wondering what are some good tires in terms of performance, life, and cost

thx

For really rainy places... look at the Dunlop Sport 5000s in 205-50-15. Excellent treadlife and great wet weather performance

Consider the Kuhmo Ecsta's... I have a 205/45/16 setup. I recommended them to two of my cousins and they both like 'em a lot!

I have the Kumho Ecsta supras and once they get down to about 50% tread they're not so great for any traction your wanting. I autox from time to time and I slide all over with these tires now. But for the first 50% of the tire they are a fairly good tire. That is just what I have noticed.

kumhos are good for everyday street driving. however for autox or track days the only kumho you'd want is either of the R compound or the MX.
