even if you get illegal tint, they wont like be held accountable incase you get into a wreck, i think you sign somethin saying that you wont hold them accountable, but i got 5% all around, i even tinted my front windshield with 35%, but you could just go buy some 20% tint and put it on some glass and compare.

 

i got 20% and the law here in GA is 35% being legal limit but if you live in the right cities, most cops will stay off your back for it...i've been pulled over twice with it on and none have even mentioned it..lookin sig to see my 20%

 

been pulled over a few times with somewhat lighter tint on my passenger windows and no trouble so far. Cops don't care unless they are really out to get you. My tint shop offered to pull it off for free if I got caught.

The fact that they agreed to put it on there in the 1st place without any issues tells me cops generally dont mind.

 

i dont think they screwed you because 35% tint is the same price as 5% tint so its not like they would be saving any money. i have 15% and can see the inside of my car in the daylight and cant see the inside at night if my lights are off

when people say % this or that... they mean % tinted or % or light through??? anyways, thats not bad if its 15% through, its pretty nice looking, o yea, sorry about your accident, that rear lip's yummy. (was)

 

15% means the tint lets 15% of the light in, therefore the lower the number, the darker the tint

 

exactly. it would just be the principle since you pay for the quality of the tint, not the tint level.
