I have a GS-R but I have red acura emblems and plan to get an OEM or replica ITR wing. I do NOT have a Type-R badge or sticker. I still have the stock GS-R "DOHC VTEC" badge. The only reason I got the red emblems is because my car is black and I love the red on black look, and I want the wing because I think it is still modest, yet still sportier looking than the OE GS-R wing.

I would hate to be considered a poser. I don't own a type-R, and I don't want to pretend I do. I like my sunroof and cruise control thankyou

Lame or OK? Opinions?

 

you could pull off the emblems.. but i dunno about the spoiler i think it only belongs on itr's.. personally if i had a itr i would take the spoiler off, as i love that look..

i think do whatever you like. i own an itr and i love the wing. like you said, it's sporty but modest and gets the job done. leave the badge, it's no big deal. the only thing i'd say is not to put itr stickers on your car. that's a little corny.

it's your car and make it your own. have fun with it.

At any rate, I think that you'd be fine doing it, if I were to own a GS-R and were getting another wing, I think I'd only go with that style of wing .

 

If I had an ITR, I would leave the spoiler on. It'd kill the collector's value if you took it off. :chuckles:

But really, I would leave it on because it is one of the signature ITR parts. To have an ITR without the proper spoiler wouldn't sit right with me. I'm not a fan of big spoilers, but it just belongs there (where Honda put it )

 

ITR spoiler and red emblems are fine...stay away from the "type-R" stickers like you are. And I would remove the "DOHC VTEC" sticker as well...IMO it makes the back end cleaner.

 

And if you did have an ITR, you'd know that the car looks very retarded without the factory OE wing on there :down:

 

I say put the red badges and spoiler on i think its clean..
