Question about o2 sensor
Hey guys, 95 gsr here..obd1.
I just purchased the 97 jdm itr 4-2-1 header with the 2.5 inch collected. Man the collecter is huge compared to the stock. Anyway for the people who Dont know the jdm header is longer, about 6 inches than the oem one. so this means that my cat is moved further down the car a little bit. Im thinking my o2 senor will not reach my jdm cat now, the wire is gonna be too short, anybody have any ideas on what to do??

cut the wires and make them longer. and isnt the O2 sensor on the OBD-1 tegs on the end of the collector and not on the cat itself? :eh:

if the jdm header is 6 inches longer, dont you have to do some cutting and re-welding of the piping? if thats the case, get the muffler shop to seal the old plug and use the one thats on the header...thats if it has one...being a 97 i think it should, but am not sure...
