Looks like the turn signal housing.

 

next to the license plate? i don't think so...besides...it's only on the right side of the bumper, not on both sides.

the turn signals are in the taillights anyway.

some of the porsches have a rear fog light like that, well, but not separate (built into the taillight assembly, but it is only on one side in the rear.

 

Ah........ NOW I see what you're referring to. I didn't see the little rear fog light. My Audi had a rear fog light. Very cool for keeping unwanted tailgators off your arse at night.

Yep, those lights rule. I've been looking for one for about a 4 months now. Unfortunately, there are none that are cheap (Like, less than 200 a side), but this spring I might go to Australia, so time to hit up the junkyards in person!

And that rear foglight rules. Are those legal in the US?
