yes they will "fit"

your tip is bolted on right now with a smaller tip on the inside. you can just unbolt the outter tip and weld the ITR tip on, since they are welded onto the muffler to begin with.

it will fit and it is better than GSR or LS but i want to kno how it sounds is there really any difference

the type r has a more free flowing muffler, so yes it does sound different than the GSR or LS muffler.

But, any decent gains from switching from stock GSR?

Amazingly, Type R exhaust are only $350 from passwordjdm. Id hit it if it offered similar gains to other aftermarket exhaust out there.

i dont think it is *as free flowing as some of the better aftermarket exhaust systems out there. but it sounds great.

haha, "better aftermarket exhaust systems" = $500 +

I'll just sacrifice my 1-2 whp gain for a savings of $150 or so

haha my friend has a 2000 type r and he still hasnt changed his exhaust to everybody kknow him by either the bananna car, or the car wit the funny exhaust, lol
