Default Question about A/C...

my A/c compressor comes on....just blows hot air.....i dont kno anything about A/C....gettin into the 100 degree range here in OK.....A/C needed bad!

Maybe you need to recharge the refridgerant (sp?). Did they still use Freon in 1995? That might be hard to come by nowdays. I'd definitely check that first though.

94+ Tegs used the R134...buy a recharge kit for that refridgerant and see if that works.

If the compressor runs but it doesn't get cold, then its more likely NOT just low on refrigerant. Get a gauge set so you can measure high & low side pressures. Don't just add a can of R134a 'cause if your expansion valve is plugged you don't want to burn up your compressor.

Or take it to an AC shop...

i got my refrigerant professionally recharged the right way and my shit still dosent blow ice cold, especially when its hot out. what else could it be?

I've been told by shops that your AC should never get cold unless the freon/R134a leaks out of the system, meaning that there is a leak. So if the air isn't cold I would definately get it check out.
