Yeah, my GS-R burns exactly 1 quart of 5w30 every 1300 miles...have yet to see any consumption with 10w30 1000 miles into this oil. It'd been burning since I got it...and changing driving habits did nothing. Time to try some thicker dino pulp as stated earlier.

5W oil is thinner than 10W oil, and as engines get older and more worn, the valve seals, and piston rings dont seal as well, letting oil seep thru causing oil burning.

The other day when i was putting on the 4-1 1 piece, i noticed that i was missing a oil pan bolt...so i found one and put it in...and checked the tightness of the rest of the nuts/bolts for the oil pan...to my amazement, many of them were scarily loose. there was a thick layer of grime/oil that the stock heatshields and exhaust manifold were concealing. so go check your oil pans guys! just dont get crazy with tightening them, u dont want to strip out ur blocks.

~ thats real common among integra's. Im on my fourth integra, and all of them had this!!!

wow all of them had that...i guess i didnt thnk of it as common as no one has really told me nor have i read about it on internet forums and such...
