hey guys i decided that it rains enough here where i dont want to screw with any chances of hydrolocking however slim they may be . .so i went for an AEM SRI over the CAI - BUT, i'd still like to feed it some cold air- i found this site ..

Do you guys see anyway to improve this? Do you think it will work? and also is there any issues with using ABS plastic in the engine compartment? thnx for the info

 

If you want cold air, there's a far easier (and cheaper) method.

Pretty much the same concept behind the Icebox; extending the piping to the airbox and keeping the air filter in the stock location.
