Geting 16" rims..what's the biggest tire size I can run?

Car is stock..not lowered...and not planning to lower it either.

What's the biggest tire size I can run withOUT rubbing. Got a 94 RS.

I heard that I can run 215/45/16?

Also I heard that 40-profile is too rough on the car suspension?

what rims are they?

if you arent lowered, you probably wont run into rubbing problems with the 215. the most popular size for 16" rims would be 205-45-16.
