Default interior noises

i have been hearing some clunking noises (mostly from the back) when i hit bumps. i was wondering if anybody has any input on where i can look. i have already checked all of the bolts on my suspension. i do have typeR springs on LS shocks, could that cause any problem?

not sure what the difference in height is but it does sound like they might be bottoming out, or springs out of the bottom cup? just a thought

Could also be the trunk. Wrap some electical tape around the latch loop, and see if that solves it

Did you check to see that your jack is secured in that litte cubby and that the spare is tightenend down? Also if the carpet is not velcro'd down, that wooden floor board could bounce up.

I have found the teg to have a lot of little rattles hear and there. The hatch one is the most noticable. Seems to be coming from the hatch cover where the carpet covering is warn away and its just the wood bumping against the plastic. The passanger side visor will make a noise if its touching the top of the headboard. The dome light also rattles some times. And the passanger door squeeks every once and a while (friend slammed the door once and i'm pretty sure he knocked the speaker loose). Not hard with some hot glue and rubber to get rid of all the noises.

that board makes the most noise in my car...

i adjusted my spring collars in the back to be half an inch lower, and now i think my sway bar is hitting my exhaust on big bumps. d'oh

yea most noise seems to be coming from the back of my car.. i'm guessing springs and board thats causing it. i know music would get rid of the noise but i get a headache listening to music sometimes

i ran over something on a local road here in st. louis today and i must have knocked one of my exhaust heat plates lose or something. That damn thing is driving me up a wall. You think interior noises are bad, you should hear what I am dealing with right now. I am gonna have to get her up on some jack stands tomorrow and get it fixed. It is so bad, I don't wanna go anywhere!!
