type r to gsr

will a 2001 stock type r header fit on my 00 GSR piping. its a long story why i have that piping, i j/ need to know if it will fit. thanks
also, will i see an improvement over my stock header or no?

It will fit but wont match to the cat. The usdm isnt much of an improvement over the gsr header.

so thats saying that a header for 97-01 type r WILL fit on my 00 GSR piping? or will the flange not match up to the cat? it looks like it would. anyone have a type r header on their gsr?
