Newbie Question Here
First off hello to everyone here. Long time Acura fan and owner as well as MoPars. Got a question on my 1990 Acura Integra. First problem with it in 13 years except for numerous mufflers.
I want to see if any of you have had this same problem. The HVAC system. The center console unit that has the different buttons to select where you want the heat or A/C to blow is non functional. It is constantly blowing out the vents. Also the fan oscialltes from high to low like it cant figure out if it wants to be in recirculated air or fresh air. Recirculated air blows stronger and colder. Fresh air doesnt blow as hard. It goes back and forth. I can hear a noise down by the heater core like the doors are trying to open and shut for freah air or recirculated air. Thanks Guys

Hey man, welcome. I think its pretty normal for the air to come out colder and faster when its on recirculating than on fresh air. But I think your switches are broken, or the metal contacts or whatever it is that decides if its on or off are dirty or something.
I think I may be talkin outa my ass.. ****in-A man

Well the system is working normal now...go figure. Thats fine with me though. yeah when it is on recirculate the air blows faster, but my problem was it would go blow fast then blow slow then fast then slow really quick fast slow fast slow. Thanks for the replys though. I will keep you posted
