Default first time on the Hondas

hey, i'm in Australia and bought my first honda the other day (after writing off my Daihatsu Charade, don't know if you guys have them in the states, probably now).

Anyways, i've just got a Honda Integra VTiR, plans so far are shocks, springs and rear swaybar for suspension, and just a cat back exhaust and lightened flywheel for the engine, i don't have big $$ to spend on the engine so i figure nothing will really give me more power, so the exhaust is there for the noise basically.

its more fun to go round corners than a straight line anyways

Welcome to the board! Looks like you have quite a good plan there. Hope you'll find this forum to be of some use. Oh, and I agree, corners are a lot more fun.

There are quite a few Aussie Integra owners on the boards in general, so I'm sure you'll be able to find other enthusiasts in your region. What color is the car?

i'll try and get some pics up yeah, but she's stock as a rock at the moment, even down to no tinting on the windows.

i'll get some pics up once the suspension is in.

so that plan for mods sounds right? anything you suggest i could do as well thats worthwhile?

The rear swaybar mounting *can* be a bit tricky. There are some pretty trick kits out there that combine a lower tie bar with the rear sway to reduce the chance of a subframe tear-out.

*edit* Any idea on tires? Also, if you're planning to track it, you'll probably want some better brake pads. From my experience, the stock pads fade surprisingly quick.

GS-R, I believe... but I think it may have one of those oddball euro market engines, like B18C2 or something like that.

Say though, does that have the awesome smoked red/clear tail turning lights that the euro-spec ITRs have? If it does, I'll buy them off of you
