Default New tires

I'm replacing my old tires. A set of Dunlop SP Sport W10 at 205/55 15. They sucked. Lasted only 20K mi. and got loud as hell. So I really want to make sure I get the right tire this time. I have a 95 GS-R. I'd like to go back to the stock size, but that's not a necessity. I consider myself and Average driver, I don't drive like a bat out of hell anymore. They'll be driven all four seasons, I'm in Chicago. They just have to be driveable in the snow, not great. After my old Dunlops and how noisy they were, I really want the new tires to be quiet and comfortable.

Thanks,

I have been trying to get this answered as well. Most responses I have received are for summer tires which is not an option for me since I have no place to stire extra rims and tires and live in NY where we also get snow.
