Should I tint my teg or spend the money on other mods? If I tint I will use a very small percentage since tint is pretty illegal in NY.

 

haha if its pretty illegal .. screw tint and buy something else.. I live in houston and the limit is 35% on my side windows and super dark on my back.. so i just got 35% all around.. but if its just a littttle tint.. i wouldnt get it.. plus.. the dot matrix on ur rear windshield is pretty gay too..

 

did you tint the dot matrix on yours or leave it untinted?

dont tint it, i tinted mine, got a ticket and had to take it off...i like it better now anyway. IMO tint is kinda rice/bling bling, and not tint is racer style....i know thats not how it actually is but thats just my perception

 

naw i left it.. it bubbles up when u tint over the dot matrix.. hated it at first but i got use to it.. my tint is pretty dark too.. got 3m metalic tint.. doesnt fade life time wararnty.. i have only one pic of my car.. sorry

 

i can live with it though.. doesnt look too bad and i didnt really notice it on other tegs untill i did it to my teg

Is this guy that Jay is having come over really good? I am pessimistics about it, especially since for $5 more I can go down to LI and get it done at a big shop and it comes with a lifetime warranty.

 

From what Jay says...yes. But you have to remember...this is coming from Jay...so I really don't know. It is going to be $120 for this guy to do it and there is a place here called "Tint King" that will do it for $130 with a lifetime warranty...so I am not sure what I am going to do.
