I just got my 96 gsr 3 months ago and this ABS light suddenly came yesterday. Initially the light will go out after I start the car. As soon as I drive it for about 10 feet, the ABS light will come back on and stay on until I shut the engine. I read the article about ABS error code on team-integra.net but their document is only applicable to 98-01 tegs. I jumped the connector anyways and I'm getting this 54 and 44 code from my ABS light(they're only short blinks). Anyone know what these codes mean? People with 94-97 Helm's manual can you look up these codes for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

i have a similar problem. my abs light will either stay on or turn off when i first start the car. i dont have to drive it.. its completely random. sometimes it'll stay on (and when it stays on the abs doesnt work, of course) or it'll turn off like its supposed to after a few seconds. the previous owner knew about it and told me about it, but i havent gotten it checked out at my dealer yet. if you find anything out, let me know.
