Default tornado maker thingy

Have you guys seen that commercial where you stick a device in your airhose (in my case the CAI) and it creates a whirlwind that's supposed to help suck up more air?

Anybody try this? Does it work?

Those would benefit carbuerated engines more than PGM-FI engines. With our intake manifolds being horizontal, they would not benefit from this 'wirlwind' effect - it would just create turbulence as the air enters the IM's runners. NOW! Vertical intakes (ie. carbuerated engines) would benefit because of the velocity of air increases, not volume.

it's trash.. a friend of mine decided to try it out for the hell of it, and it actually worsened his throttle response.
