no way around it that i know of, mine is funked up as well, but i always run a white sunstrip on both my windshield and rear hatch that covers it up,

 

should i not have it covered or should i have the guy try this special glue that supposedly works?

 

try it...if it doesn't work, have him remove that portion.

Damn i guess imma have the exact same problem, cause i wanna tint my car too. Do all integras have that or what? And what percent is that tint man, im thinking of doin 20%, that looks like 40 or something

 

i didn't get my dots tinted over. i don't think it looks bad. and i avoided the bubbling. when it's all said and done, i don't think anybody has even looked at that part of my hatch window and commented on it, so it's pretty much do what you want. but most tinters will recommend NOT tinting over that part of the window because of it not sticking well.
