i have the chance to buy some nsx calipers front and rear, will they fit onto my ls or do they only fit type-r's? if anyone knows please help me out. thanks.

 

I think they are too big...I could be wrong though.

you should see about getting some ITR calipers and havings some custom rotors made for them

It's possible to install NSX rotors on GSR hubs, but you will have to do some work. Calipers with brackets and bolts, 11in rotors redrilled to 4 x 100 and appropriate pads. Also, it seems there's some metal that will need to be filed down for clearance.

I've got a local guy in Charlotte that upgraded his ITR to Acura Legend rotors and calipers. These are the same as NSX, but can be found for cheaper. I don't have all the tech information to do this swap, so I'd say keep researching, but it is possible.

 

how if you do a 4x114.3 earlier type-r conversion the calipers can fit right? what kind of modifications need to be done to fit the calipers even if installing on the usdm 5 lug type r?

 

Go with the Acura Legend calipers and rotors from 94-95 GS (sedan) or 93-95 (coupe) for best fitment. No additional modifications required except for a couple of washers to shim the caliper for the best fitment of the bolts. Cost would be from $100-$350 depending of if you buy new or used.

thanks drumsy, so the Legend caliper is the same as the NSX caliper (2 piston?) ? and if i were to want to use the NSX caliper would it still work the same as using the Legend one? thanks for everything

 

The only differences between the NSX and Legeng caliper is the NSX logo, and cooling fins. They are both two pot calipers. You can use the NSX caliper on ITR suspension.

 

arent legend rotors 5 lug?
