anyone out there with skunk2 full exhaust system? how's the sound? what's the best price for it? i am planning to get one. one of the local shop quote me 599 plus tax. please help.

Take a look at that first. And I heard that it was loud, but I think people may be exagerating how loud it is.

anyone know what's the size of the skunk2 piping? 2.25 inches or 55mm?

 

I Have Skunk2 exhaust. I run it w/o the silencer and its so loud its sick:barf: . I only got the muffler and had custom 2.25 bent with not resinator. I got it all done for less than what it cost to get the cat-back. Got the muffler from www.lightningmotorsports.com for $219. They have 2 mufflers, 1 with the 2.25 inlet and a 2.5 for exhaust that will be runnning turbo. But that price you got for the cat-back is good , cause i looked around for it before. I think the way i did it cost under $500 total and mine is louder than the cat-back system cause no resinator.

 

Yeah, having no resonator makes the biggest difference in exhaust tone/deepness/loudness.
