what's this 2000 Type R worth?
Hello Everyone,
Here's the deal --- 2000 Type R being sold for $18,900 with:
31k miles and in immaculate condition -- adult owned/driven (40something year old)
Acura Dealer Installed equipment:
HP Fuel Pump, APEXI Exhaust w/silencer, 3rd mount cooling fan, VTEC controller, cam gears, performance injectors, BOTTOM end build (crower rods, JE slugs, ARP head studs/block guard), APEXI VAFC, Perf. Stage III/IV Clutch, Greddy Turbo Kit (18g) w/large intercooler, Vortech FMU 12:1, and HKS Super Suquential Valve --- Total spent at dealer: $9600
DEALER DOCUMENTED DYNO: 275HP @ 211lbs torque
This says nothing of the suspension and wheels SO --- what would you pay and how scared would you be of this car with this much work?
Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a good deal. I bought my '01 ITR in Houston for 21.5K w/ only 7K miles on it. It came w/ mugen header, Apexi N1 dampers and mugen twin loop exhaust. Sounds like a great price for all the additions that you are getting. Is the factory willing to offer an extended warranty? If the previous owner was willing to go to the dealer for the installs...he probably treated the engine well. Good sign that he cared about the car if he was willing to get charged out the arse to have the dealer do any kind of work on the car. Dyno numbers sound outstanding. At that price, you are practically getting all the aftermarket parts for free. I'd buy it. I wouldn't worry about the suspension just yet. Tires are expected to last 4-6 years.
I just bought a 2000 type r yellow with 18,000 miles on it aem cold air intake, dc header, aem fuel rail jackson racing supercharger carbonfiber hood, tenzo r rims showroom condition for 21000 i also got a 100,000 mile warranty on it (supercharger) included My advice to you is ... Its a good price for the car and the amount of work done to it expecially for the power its producing but Dont buy it without a bangin warranty because you never kno how hard it was drivin...
Thats a very good deal for whats there. You will find that not too many people go with the greddy 18g kit these days but i had the same kit and you will find that it makes plenty of power. Good luck if you decide to get the car!!!
George...
Acura dealers install anything you want them to as long as you want to pay the $80-$100/hr for labor.
My dealer installed my clutch/flywheel (both non-OEM) for the same price as OEM parts.
