I don't know how true that is. I have some very heavy 16's (21lbs a rim) and I have not noticed a shortage of gas mileage. Still getting about 25-26mpg a tank on city driving, and thats with going into vtec often. But oh well maybe thats just me???

 

i got a 99 ls and is completely stock.. the most i got from the mileage is 275 miles on full tank and the low gas light didn't come on yet, so i could have gone more with it

 

Just got done with a full tank and i was at 230. I think this is the most i have ever had on a full tank(not including when i first got it cause i never kept track). Also im thinkin how i drive has alot to do with it!(heavy foot but i backed of this past tank) Still didnt change the fuel filter yet. Cant decide if i want to spend the money on the AEM Filter or not, but im hopin when i do change it it will help some.

 

Bone stock I could get between 280-325 depending on how much I used the VTEC.

 

Random question AcIntgr.... how much do you put into your tank (gallon wise)at fill-ups?

 

I typically get 24 in town and 30+ on Highway.

 

does changing the fuel filter really help on fuel mileage?

 

Im on how some are only getting 230 on a tank. Do you have a leak? My car is way in need of a tune up and is getting 250 and I just added I/H/E and drive even harder and get 265 consistently. In my red teg I used to get 310 ALL THE TIME city/hwy and straight HWY 400+. (she was in perfect tuned condition.)
