Did you buy just the 9006 or did you do the 9005--> lowbeam conversion?

Ii'm currently runnin a 9005 silverstar conversion in my teg. Lights up the road quite well for being bulbs.

Never did the 9005 conversion but I got PIAA Extreme White bulbs when I first got my GSR...they lasted about 2.5 years and made a small improvement over stock. When they died I moved on to a Phillip's 4300K HID kit. From what I hear Sylvania Silverstars are very good...I got information on them when I got my HIDs (came in the box) and they seemed impressive on paper.

I have silverstars and no 9005 conversion.

I like the light that comes out of them. It's light output is substantially cooler than stock, and they look very clean.

Though, I love the brights with that thing. You could cook a hotdog at 3 feet with the lights alone AND you can see everything Very nice

All in all, I was glad I spent the money for the silverstars

I used to have the Sylvania Silverstars with 9005, and i thought they were bright, but i was expecting a less yellow output.

My Hella 9005's 110 watts, have more of a pure HID output.

Here's a really good link for a step by step that got me through the conversion: 9005 Conversion

I think they look pretty damn good... For 30 bucks?
