Default weird noise?

hey i just got my four door gsr 1998 recently.. while driving it now.. i cant but not notice a rattling? jingling sound? it happens usually when im at around 3k or sometimes lower or higher... its just really annoying?

my gsr is completely stock and its has 100k miles

im thinking it might be the heat shield? so im going to take that off this afternoon

what could it be?

Whereabouts is the sound coming from? Rear of your car? Front? Sides? Underneath? Moonroof?

GSRs, for the most part, have that common problem.. heat shield starts rattling.. even mine has it. I thought changing out the header/exhaust would cure the problem. I was wrong.. my next step would be to change out the cat with an OEM or aftermarket. However, I have noticed less noise since I changed out my exhaust
