Default problem with A/F in LS/VTEC

My LS/Vtec coversion runs so lean I'm afraid of driving it and can not find problem that causes such A/F ratio.

My setup is
B18B block
B16A head
P30 ECU
B16A Intake manifold

I wonder if someone could give me sum clues what can I do to increase A/F reachness. Can it be problem with ECU, so I hould use 1,8 VTEC ECU?

First of all, have you had your setup tuned, or are you running as you installed it?

I was not tuning up my setup yet, because I don't really know what exactly to do. I was expecting this LS/VTEC to work at reasonable A/F after just builiding it up. Right know it has 25% leaner fuel than the average level of 14.7:1.

bad O2 sensor? :dunno:
what are you using to check the air fuel ratio anyway?

I measure A/F ratio by means of some specialised equipment from Honda.

I checked O2 sensr and it was dead. I replaced it with new one and car runs better, but still header temperature is to high and spark plugs are too grey, so I think the A/F is still too lean. On Monday I will be able to measure A/F, but it seems that O2 sensor was not the major reason for he problem.

What Can I do?
