Default Brembo blanks vs stock?

I know Brembo has a real good reputation, but why are their OE rotors better than stock rotors or the generic replacement rotors at AutoZone, etc? Is it really worth the extra money, or is it just all hype? I don't understand how one OE style rotor could be much better than another. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

$22 a piece vs $38 a piece (including shipping)... I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what's different between them.

brembo stuff is at least, if not better than OEM stuff.
the generic **** you buy from autozone, well, its generic.

i go by the rule of thumb that you get what you pay for.

i have seen pics of the generic autozone rotors with cracks in them after autocross events. heck jgrotkier's sight give you a hell of a deal. where i live the autozone rotors are the same price he is charging. remember you get what you pay for. besides it's your brakes, comeon that's almost like life support right there. that's one area where you can't skimp i hope that made sence

From my understanding, they are a little thicker than stocks which is supposed to make them less likely to warp. Means longer time between servicing or replacing which will save you money. And everyone knows brembo is a reputable company and i plan on getting them soon... but things keep happening and keep me from having money to order them. Ahhh!! Anyway... i digress... get them.. i hear good things. But i don't think they will improve stopping distance if thats wat your asking... the surface area of the rotors are the same, but i'm sure they are more reliable.
