From what I've seen with other folk's cars, SSBP tends to turn a Barney purple as the color fades over time and with sun exposure.

Nice! My sister's GSR is that color. My mom thought it would draw too much attention, but my sister wanted it because there are so few Integras with that color. Some ricer stole her VTEC badge though...

 

Does anyone remember the thread that we discussed color distributions? I know SSBP was a 98-99 color, and I think I remember seeing 800 units made. Can anyone confirm/deny/dredge up this thread?

 

Not sure about SSB...but the Deep Violet Pearl GSRs were only in 2000 and there were about 2 per dealer.

i wanted that color bad...i got a 94 gsr that i bought with that fugly tealish green color, so i wanted to change it and fix some body probs so i went to the shop and decided on 1998 Doge Viper GT-S Blue....i was gonna go with the SSB but i didnt like the purplish in some light (no offense) and the viper blue is unbelievable with the pearl clear, the blue is unreal....but nice car anyway, id take that color on that newer car anyday :thumbup:

 

When I went to go buy my Integra in July 01, I asked for a blue GSR. They told me straight that it just wasn't going to happen in my time frame, because I needed a car ASAP to get to work.

I ended up settling for a brand new 01 black LS. Not blue, but hey, I ended up with this weird yellow color
