Good link, and the ITR was available in the U.S. They hold there value alot better and are Very Rare.

new off the lot the difference was about $6K...used ITRs still are going to be above ~$16K

Well that's a given of course the Type R is slower............................................ .................................................. ...............................to depreciate

 

There isnt even a blue book price for the Type R since turnover is rare. Hell, the car itself is rare. I had trouble finding one in good condition, so I commissioned a dealership to find me one in mint condition with under 15k miles. Took some time, but they were able to do it.
