I have a 96 gs-r. I'm wondering if arospeed intakes are any good. I'm sure aem would probably be the best but I wanna try and hook this car up without killin my wallet. If anyone has an arospeed i'd appreciate some feedback. thanks

 

you should look at what filter is going on...that may make more of a difference.

 

is it one of those cheap ones sold on e-bay? I haven't heard of it

 

run your finger inside the filter...there should be a "velocity stack" or at least just a smooth pathway into the intake pipe. most cheap intake/cones have a ridge, or something that would do more hindrance to the airflow than the stock intake element would.

 

If you want cheap, you may want to look into the DIY icebox.
