Some second rate thief tried to steal my acura by drilling out the ignition...

Anyone know how to get the ignition tumbler out without removing the whole assembly that is riveted to the stearing column? and then where to get a new one?

You need to buy a new lock assembly from an Acura dealer and have them match it to your keys from the VIN. Usually you will have to show them something to prove that you actually own the car, like a registration, title, etc. Also you may want to look into having your insurance pay for this if you have comprehensive coverage and a relatively low deductible. I believe list price is around $350.
