my car doesnt have any kind exhaust intake on it, when i get up to about 40 mph the cars sounds like it has exhaust. like a loud muffel sound.I was was just wondering what migt be causing the car to sound like that. happens when it shifting gears the is an auto.

maybe the OEM muffler needs to be replaced?

 

That would be my guess, it's probably a hole in the exhaust.

Check for exhaust leaks.
