Default What is the.......(tires)

what is the widest tires you can put on a Integra RS.
Right now I have 205/40 and I want to go bigger. What size should I get for a wider tire.......without any tire rubbing?
Thank You....

also depends on your rims, your rims may not be able to handle a wider tire as well.

GSuperR had 215, rolled fenders, and it still rubbed... so 205 is probably as big as you can go

215/40/17 rub pretty badly...lowered ~2 inches.

no point unless you get wider tires, 205 is as squishy as I'd want to go. 215 and the sidewall would squirm to much imo

I had yokohama a set of A540 215/40-17 at stock height I never heard them rub. Not even once. However I just replaced them with pirelli P7000 205/40-17 for a bit more all-season practicality. I went with the 205's this time because most everyone on the board here has 205's and most have more power than I do, and it seems to work out just fine for them, so why would I need wider?
just my 2 cents
