Default Got another teg

To replace mine

I never made a post about this before becuase I was too down, but at the beginning of last month I wrecked my 95 GSR. I didn't have collision (I was procrastinating like I always do) so I'm screwed for a while.

I picked up a 91 LS just for something to run around in for a year or so, and then winters after that. Hopefully I'll be able to get another 3rd gen GSR next summer.

I do have one problem with the car though, I bought it as just another car to run around in, and now I want to mod it!....I think I'm addicted.

Well here are some pics.....(you can see my gutted GSR in the background)

Sorry to hear about the GS-R. That's a nice looking 2nd gen though.

Are you ok from the accident, what happened?

Yeah, im fine from the accident. What happened was I was going around a corner pretty fast (but not too fast for the corner) but there was construction cutting down all the trees next to it, and dirt had been pushed onto the road. I was hugging the outside line, and my wheels lost traction on the dirt, I started sliding off the road, tried steering back, and in the process ran into the only fucking tree that was left, actually it was a 4 foot tall stump.

Apparently I'm one of many cars that have run into that tree, I guess the construction workers thought it would be fun to leave it there for one last time....they ripped it out a few days later.

Ouch, that's too bad. Were you able to part it out or anything to recover money?

I am still in the process of parting it out. I haven't sold much yet though, so if you need anything....

I don't know what I'm going to do with the engine. The bolts on the side engine mount came out of the block.....so the threads are basically gone and a little piece broke off

That suchs. Atleast you found a really nice G2. I have always liked those. If you have cloth seats from your GSR I am interested. PM me.

here's a pic of my GSR after I hit the tree. We had to rip the bumper cover off to get the hood open, so it sorta looks worse.

before pics are in my sig
