Default Any danger with using a rebuilt Master Cylinder?

I'm strapped for cash, and I can't help that I keep noticing that rebuilt OE mater cylinders are $100 cheaper than new ones. Any major risks that I could be running with that? Any bad experiences with rebuit? The reason I'm asking is because me service manual says that honda does not reccomend rebuilt cylinders, and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks!

That wouldn't do it for me...the cylinder operates with large amounts of pressure. I would purchase a new one for sure (one of the few components where I wouldn't feel safe with a refurbished unit).

if there is a defect in the parts, they dont get rebuilt. they go through them, inspect all the parts, and replace ALL the seals, no matter what those look like.
