i want to know if a 15" sub in a box plus an amp has any affects on ur car performance. and anyone here taking out their spare tire so the car would b a lil bit lighter and if that any helps @ all?

well ofcourse you should know it would slow you down just a slit sec on the quater and the spare isnt is my car because my car didnt come with the tools to operate the jack so there fore the jack isnt in there either.

I have a 12" JL with an amp, and I've driven with and without it. To tell you the truth, there isn't any noticible real world driving differences. I think most of it is just mental.

a 15" sub and a box for it will weight more than 50 lbs. for daily driving, you wont even notice it. for track driving, yes...it will effect the performance.
