Default Stroker kit or Turbo?

I have a '98 Integra LS and wanted to know if I should go with the turbo or get a 2.2L stroker kit. I am interested in the stroker kits because I prefer N/A engines. Does anyone know how much it would cost to install the stroker Vs. the Turbo set up? The stroker kit is a little cheaper up front but I know that there will most likely be machining involved as well as removing the engine. I have no idea how much that stuff costs. If anyone has any information on cost for both or which you would recommend, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

cheap, fast, reliable.... choose two. the turbo setup will be faster and cheaper, but not as reliable as an all motor setup for the same price, that's not to say you can't make a turbo setup reliable, but that'll cost ya

How do you like your turbo set-up? How much did the kit cost and how much did it cost to install? How much power does it make to the wheels? Thanks.

I love my turbo setup, it's a money pit and i'm selling the car, but that doesn't mean i don't like it. the kit was roughly 2200, install was about 500, i could've done it, but i'm so busy and i got it in january and my garage isn't heated and i don't have the right tools to do it. as far as hp, an estimated guess would be a lil over 200 whp, but keep in mind, i'm only running 5psi b/c i still have the stock clutch and at 7psi i was slipping.

tooslow2race, where did you get your turbo kit from? That sounds like a good price.

because there's so much to do for example.... new clutch, stand alone, cams, 3 inch thermal, turbo timer, boost controller, build the bottom end, dyno time, thicker diameter piping.... etc. and as a college student, i just don't have the resources to do everything i want to do, hence selling it to someone who has the time. after i sell, i'll get something nice to drive around and a 92-93 hatch that i can build on the side strictly for the track

i bought the kit from a friend of mine, it was a custom kit that he had put together and had on his gsr for about 6000 miles (went 13.5 in the quarter at 7psi on his stock clutch)... he took it off to send his block away to be built and he wanted a bigger turbo setup.... they also installed it ( www.hybridynamics.com ) they installed the kit for me as well

Don't get a stroker kit... longer stroke means lower rod ratio and even lower safe redline!!

Instead, it would be better to bore your block for displacement. It will also up your compression ratio. While you're at it, get some higher compression pistons.
