INtegra's QUARTER MILE time.....

Theres an Eclipse club that hangs out close to where I live, and they are forever talking smack about how eclipses are better than integras....I have a 92 LS, and I myslef have beaten plenty of Eclipdse GSs (hence, my name). But anyway, I was talking to them this weekend and they were telling me that the quarter mile time for the stock 92 LS is 17 seconds, and that the type r does it in 15.2 seconds......That sounds like bullsh*t to me . Does anyone know any website where we can find quarter mile times for cars and compare them to other cars ? Does anyone have the 1/4 times for the 92 integras (LS and GSR) ? the 95 eclipse GS ? the GS-T ? The integra type R ?

www.edmunds.com has a few I think, but to my knowledge.

Times vary with driver skill.

2nd gen LS is mid to low 16's
2nd gen GSR is high 15's
3rd gen type R is high 14's

Gen2 LS, GS, RS Automatic:
0-60: 8.7 sec
1/4 mi: 16.9 sec

Gen2 LS, GS, RS Manual:
0-60: 7.8 sec
1/4 mi: 16.3 sec

Gen2 GSR:
0-60: 7.5 sec
1/4 mi: 15.7 sec

Gen3 ITR:
0-60: 6.5 sec
1/4 mi: 14.7 sec

eclipses are better than integras
they are in many aspects other than reliability, In racing aspect, they own you.

Is that why the 2nd gen integra LS is faster than the eclipse RS and GS ?

Cheese, that says second gen, you have a 3rd gen.

eclipse spanker 07-01-2002 09:00 AM

FYI, 3rd gen and 2nd gen are basically the same car....(3rd gen has 2 more hp, 2nd gen has 2 more lbs of torque)
