Well damn after I worked on my car yesturday my radio doesnt work and I dont have the code, and of course like a dumbass I put in the wrong code on the deck 3 times, anyway to bypass this?

 

Take it to the dealer, they can get it for you

 

cool thanks, the only thing that sucks, is the closet dealer is like 1.5 hours away lol

 

call them. call the dealer you bought it from. some may be able to check the database with your vin, others will need to use the serial behind the deck.

taking it to the dealer will probably end up in a $60 charge of them removing the deck, and checking the serial itself.

or you may get lucky and get it done for free.

also, the code should be written in a card with your manuals if you bought the car from the dealer.

 

I bought the car as a one onwer used vehicle last month, the dealer told me where to find the code stickers on the car but they arent there, so I am just goign ot have my mp3 deck put in today...thanks for the help guys

 

call the 1-800 number and give them the VIN, they can do it over the phone i think...

 

Leave the accessories on in the car to power the radio - it'll reset itself in an hour. Then you get another three chances at it.
