Damn... I just got an RT cat. So a lot of them fail... within warranty or outside of warranty?

How did it fail? Element break? Melt? Did the case come apart? hrm... more info?

the pipe between the case and the exhaust mid-pipe...SNAP! right in half. its wasn't under warranty because i installed it myself - according to them.

:-D Great. I had a warranty failure on my GReddy exhaust (one of the welds wasn't done right), and while GReddy's nice and good about not charging you anything, they make you pay for the labor to put it on.. Since they were charging me $55 to do it(rip!), I convinced them to put on the RT cat w/ no additional labor charge.
