Default idle..

hey guys ,i was just curious latley my idle has been kinda shakey in reguards to like the steering wheel, like when im sittin at a stop light it kinda vibrates a little more then i always have noticed..... but on my tach my rpms are stable at like 5-700..

but do u guys have any ideas on checking this???

new spark plugs will probably help...

i already have new spark plugs and spark plug wires..both NGK's

How's your cap, rotor, and coil doing? These are also somethings to look at. These are somethings to look at when the idle is jumping a little bit. Just for the wheel shaking I would suggest looking at the engine mounts real close making sure all the bushings are in good shape.

ya i just replaced my cap, and coil so i think there ok..

sounds like motor mounts, if rpm's are steady it doesn't sound like a performance issue, i would think the vibe is feeding back through the steering wheel and or suspension

Check your mounts to see if theyre torn. Specifically the lower torque mounts.

i have the same issue with vibration in the steering column. Sometimes the vibration moves from the column to the cabin. Are mounts easy to fix as a DIY or how much would it cost for me to get someone to do it for me??? Suggestions?
